A promise made to Milpitas voters in 2004 for a community college campus to be located in this city has finally come to fruition. On Tuesday, members of the Milpitas Unified School District and San Jose-Evergreen Community College District joined together for a ribbon cutting ceremony of the new Milpitas extension where high school students and adults in the community can take courses starting next February at 1450 Escuela Parkway.
