As COVID-19 impacts our community with uncertainty and unemployment, Milpitas Unified School District (Milpitas Adult Education) has formed a partnership with online learning pioneer Coursera to provide FREE courses for anyone who lost their jobs due to the pandemic.  You do not need to be a Milpitas resident to benefit from this partnership.  Please share this information with your family, friends, neighbors, colleagues, and on social media.

Coursera’s Workforce Recovery Initiative offers 3,800 courses and 400 specializations at no cost. Enrollment in Coursera’s courses is open through September 30, 2020, for individuals who are unemployed or underemployed.  Newly-enrolled learners will have through December 31, 2020, to complete their courses.  Read here for additional details.

Milpitas Adult Education views this extraordinary opportunity as a pathway to endless learning opportunities and an equity response to place a priority on connecting education to sustainable future employment.

We ask that you please take a moment to complete this brief questionnaire to get started today.

Coursera is a leader in online learning and has learning opportunities through Guided Project, Course, Specialization, Professional Certificate, Mastertrack Certificate, & Degree.  Also, hundreds of courses are available in different languages.

We look forward to assisting you in launching a new career pathway toward a brighter future.

Sincerely,

Your Friends at Milpitas Unified School District
