Posted Date: 12/01/25 (11:51 AM)

Attention MUSD Families,

We're excited to invite your child to AeroTech Space Adventures, a hands-on STEM workshop where kids in 1st-6th grade can learn about aeronautics and build their very own rockets—no prior experience needed!

Date: Sunday, December 14th
Location: John Sinnott Elementary
Cost: $27 per student (rockets) | $33 for glider session

NEW THIS YEAR: We're offering a glider session where students can build boost gliders that launch like rockets and then glide back to earth—a great way to explore aerodynamics!

Time Slots:
Students will attend one 1.5-hour session based on their grade and preference (first-come, first-served):

  • 8:30 AM: Grades K–3

    • 9:50 AM: Grades 4–6

    • 11:10 AM: All grades (mixed session)

    • 1:50 PM: All grades (mixed session)

    • 3:10 PM: GLIDERS (all grades)

If the time slots don't work perfectly for your schedule, just email us and we can accommodate you!

What to Expect:

  • Build and launch your own rocket (or glider)!

  • Explore aeronautics in a fun, engaging environment led by AeroTech experts from Milpitas High School

  • First launch is FREE—additional launches available for just $5

  • Ignite your child's passion for STEM with this memorable hands-on experience!

Want to do BOTH rockets and gliders? Simply purchase 2 Rocket tickets online (you pay $54 for an experience worth $60!)
