A Classified substitute serves in a Classified position (secretary, custodial, maintenance, nutritional staff) when that staff member is absent or the position is vacant.
How do I become a Substitute Classified Employee?
Step 1: Complete an Edjoin Application for the position or positions that you would like to be a substitute employee.
Step 2: Apply for any Classified Substitute position.
Step 3: HR or the Hiring Department will contact you to set up a time to assess your qualifications.
Step 4: After screening, you will be contacted for an interview.
Step 5: If you meet the interview/screening requirements, a member of the HR team will onboard you as a Classified Substitute.
