Transferring to another District

If your contract is not renewed at the end of BTSA Year 1 or 2, "Transportability Documents" will be prepared for your new district.  Please provide the following to the Educational Services Department if you have only completed year 1 of BTSA:

  1. A copy of your Portfolio Checklist indicating your portfolio has been reviewed by your Support Provider
  2. A short letter from your Support Provider stating you have successfully completed all Year 1 BTSA completion requirements
  3. Your summer contact information (primarily an address)

If you have completed both years of BTSA, the process for applying for and receiving your clear credential will become your transport document.  Instead of forwarding a copy to the MUSD Personnel Specialist, you will take a copy to HR in the new district.

KEEP YOUR BTSA PORTFOLIO UNTIL YOU RECEIVE AND REGISTER YOUR CLEAR CREDENTIAL
