Our Mission

To empower educators to individualize, integrate, innovate and reflect upon their continuing professional development in order to best meet the ever-changing needs of our students, our schools and our community.

Our Goal

To provide new teachers with a rewarding experience that builds professional skills, fosters life-long peer relationships, and establishes positive instructional practices that will impact the lives of all students and their families.

What is BTSA?

BTSA is a formative assessment for California Teachers (FACT) in which beginning teachers receive support from experienced teachers on a weekly basis in order to develop individualized growth plans aligned to the California Standards for the Teaching Profession (CSTP). BTSA is a collaborative and reflective process embedded into the teacher's job. Teachers who participate in BTSA can earn university credit as they move through the FACT system.
