Frequently Asked Questions Milpitas Unified School District and City of Milpitas enter in to Agreement for New School Land Purchase

The Milpitas Unified School District’s 2012-2013 school year will begin on Monday, August 20, 2012. Please note; this is one week earlier than it has started in the past. The school start date change will allow those schools on a semester grading system to have their first semester finals before the December break rather than after. With the early start date also comes an early release date on June 6, 2013.

All registered students must be in their assigned seat on the first day of school. Students not present on August 20, 2012, risk losing their seat at the elementary level and possible changes in class schedules at the secondary level. Please plan on having your students at their assigned school on August 20, 2012.

If you have any questions regarding the beginning of the school year you may contact your resident school.
