About the Campaign

In Nov 2018, according to the Santa Clara County Registrar of Voters office, Milpitas Unified School District made history as it passed its largest school district bond - $284 million - by the largest margin of voters - 71%. This community investment in MUSD Strategic Goal #5, identify creative, student-focused strategies to accommodate enrollment growth and ensure healthy learning environments and will provide $66.8 million toward the development of the MUSD Innovation Campus. $28 million more is needed to complete the full campus.
Rendering of new campus
The campus will be the cornerstone of collaborative ingenuity that intertwines the strength of diversity and inclusion to embrace every learner. In the Milpitas tradition where the first integrated neighborhood, Sunny Hills, was established in 1954, learners of all backgrounds speaking more than 50 languages will explore and experience pathways providing them with the skills they need to impact the future.
MUSD students are currently building connections between elementary through career age learners with organizations such as Girl Genius, STEMgirls, My Roots are Rich, SAMP, and Azen Seagulls. Their creativity and foresight about the future of community, civic engagement, and entrepreneurship is remarkable.
Our MUSD Alliance Partners (MAP) for Ready Future Learners program includes a unique alliance of partners who will have the opportunity to expand the possible shaping workforce development.  Join us as MUSD leads in the 4th Industrial Revolution with imagination and vision.
