Community Educational Endowment

Support MCEE

Dear Parents,

Milpitas Community Educational Endowment is a nonprofit organization aimed at creating an endowment to support the Milpitas Unified School District to help to reduce the impact of the “roller coaster” state funding to our schools.

Unlike other foundations where there is a large benefactor to seed the organization, we have started with a grass roots effort in the community. We believe that this is a reflection on the Milpitas community and how it values education. This is why we have Community as part of the name of this foundation. We hope that you will join us and support this effort in whatever way that you can.

Also, we have decided to be an endowment in which we will plant and grow the seeds of funding public education in Milpitas. This means that most of the principal investment will not be distributed. Only up to 5% of the original investment and any investment gains can ever be distributed. The endowment will be professionally managed similar to colleges and universities. We hope that this will provide a more permanent source of funding than the traditional fundraising and distribution.

Any size contribution is welcomed. To make a contribution, we offer these convenient ways:
• Online, at www.mceefoundation.org. We will accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express credit cards as well as Paypal.
• For cash and checks, follow the directions found online. Please make the checks out to MCEE.

For more information, check us out at http://www.mceefoundation.org or email us at: [email protected].

Thank you for your support and your investment in the children of Milpitas.
